Arizer Air 2 Review Planet of the Vapes

Introduction

The Arizer Solo is arguably one of the best portable vaporizers on the market. It comes highly recommended from everyone who uses it. Information technology'southward virtually the size of a small coke can, but has a prissy heft to information technology. The Arizer Solo has had many revisions since it's initial release in 2011. The newer versions have a stainless steel oven (as opposed to the ceramic oven found in the get-go version). Some say they can sense of taste a difference in vapor quality with the ceramic oven, just I don't have one to test out that theory.

Why Solo?

Solo VapeCaseI generally use the Arizer Solo at home on the couch. I accept a very overnice vapecase that makes traveling with the glass a touch easier. Information technology seals much similar a Pelican example would. I even shop herbs within without any smell. The Solo's simple design makes information technology easy to apply. A lot of my friends aren't familiar with vaporizers which tin can lead to strange looks when I hand them a weird future box that lightly cooks herb. With the Solo I haven't had that problem, it's articulate how to use it from the moment it gets in your hands.

Performance & Use

Arizer SoloThe Solo is a rock solid performer. Load upwardly your herbs into the glass stem and insert it into the heating sleeping accommodation upwardly top. Pressing the up/downward buttons on the front end at the aforementioned time will turn the unit on. Then dial in your desired temperature. The temperatures range from 1-7, with ane existence the lowest (at about 122° F) and the highest beingness 7 (at about 410° F). I've plant my sugariness spot between 5-6. I like to vape my herbs until they have nothing left to give. I find that can have me anywhere from 20-30 minutes depending on the herb. The Solo is incredibly effective when vaping, when it's time to empty my duff it'south always a prissy even nighttime brown. I have institute information technology vapes evenly without stirring only a lite agitation might aid you go more out of your herb.

The Solo has a timer that will close if off afterward 12 minutes. It's come up in handy once or twice, merely mostly it's an annoyance. I find it can accept anywhere from 3-v minutes to become thick clouds out of the Solo and to have information technology cutting off right as I'm getting in a groove tin can be a pain.

The Solo has the longest bombardment life of whatsoever other vape I've used. I can by and large become the battery to concluding five or 6 bowls (I run each bowl through 2 or iii 12 minute sessions). Information technology tin can accept an hr or two to fully charge the Solo, only once it gets going in that location's no drama.

I have two third political party drinking glass stems from PlanetVape.ca: a PVHES (PlanetVape High Efficiency Stalk) Straight and a PVHES Bent Turbo. I didn't buy these when I bought my Solo just I wish I would take. I would highly recommend considering a third party stem equally part of the essential Solo experience.

The Planet Vape PVHES Straight stalk is my current favorite. It provides the perfect corporeality of airflow, allowing for really pretty clouds. It's non too difficult to describe on (which is a problem with the stock stems). It fits a little loose but Planet Vape provides a nifty O Ring to proceed the stems from wiggling.PVHES Bent Turbo Stem Another Plant Vape stalk is their Turbo line, which loses the glass screen birthday and replaces it with a single metallic screen. The Turbo provides a picayune too much airflow for my tastes. Information technology's great for getting cooler vapor, only if you're chasing clouds yous won't find them here. Planet Vape also sells a wonderful Glass on Glass stalk for use with a water pipe or bong. They come in 14mm and 18mm sizes

Price

For me the Solo is a daily driver.

It'due south perfect for use around the house. The Solo can exist purchased here. I believe the Solo to be THE all-time value on the market today for a powerhouse portable. No other portable on the market tin pack the same kicking.

Downsides

I don't have many gripes almost the Solo, only information technology does have some drawbacks. Start of all the stock glass stems don't take a lot of air menses. You'll go high, that's for certain, but one time you lot use a modified stem like the ones mentioned above I doubt you will ever go back. It's non every bit portable or as stealthy as the Pax, just it beats the Pax hands down in terms of vapor production and flavor. I have a feeling that glass stalk draws more attending out and about than something without a big glass tube sticking out, but I haven't got whatsoever conclusive bear witness for this. I'yard not crazy about the auto-off timer, simply I tin see how information technology tin can be useful for others.

Wait and Feel

Arizer Solo Stock PhotoThe Solo is about the size of a Redbull can. It's got a nice weight to information technology and feels well built. I've never dropped mine, but it looks as though information technology tin can withstand a adept beating. The glass stems are some other matter: I've broken a few of those in one stupid manner or some other. The temperature up and downward buttons accept an aural click that doesn't feel satisfying (feels soft), they tin also be kind of loud. When my wife hears CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK it's pretty obvious that I'm watching Ghost Hunters at 3 AM and talking with the spirits. This is a minor problem, not a dealbreaker for me by whatsoever ways, but it would exist nice to fire this matter upwards without letting everybody know what's happening in my earth.

Verdict

For me the Solo is a daily driver. It's perfect for use effectually the house. Occasionally it volition take a field trip and see the sights, but information technology'due south size keeps it from being a truthful travel vape for me. All that said, I would buy the Solo once more in a heartbeat. Information technology's a bargain. I'grand thinking almost giving them to friends every bit Christmas gifts.
